My Rig

10 Attachment(s)
My 1935 Nambu rig. Pistol is not reblued. Perfect bore. Numbers matching except magazines. One mag is only 2 digits off. Type III mint holster. Unnumbered mint firing pin and mint cleaning rod.

Cased 1944 WWII Nambu with original Kamikaze headband. I was told a song is written on the headband. The pistol will be my shooter when (if) I get a complete new spring set and new grips.

My Type II, Type III and Canvas holsters so far.

I also have collected 7 packs of original WWII cigerettes, various photos and some currency. What I have thus far isn't much but it brings me great joy to own. Hope you like it.

Great.

Here is the right way (at least being the readable way) to place that band:

Duane, WOW! What a beauty! Hardly ever see nicer than that. Nice collection. Thanks for sharing.

Alvin---Your correct. I bought it that way with the headband backward. I'll fix it over the Holidays. The Nambu is mixed numbered, bad springs and one grip is slightly broken.

Jerry--I also hang out on the Gunboards (Jan Stills) Japanese section. I was in a bidding war with Jim Kemp for this one. Paid a couple hundred more than it's worth but I already bought the holster, firing pin and cleaning rod so I had to have it. He called me during the auction and decided to let me have it because I wasn't going to stop bidding until I won. Jim (some of you might know him) said it was the best and wanted it to upgrade his Nambu collection. Thank you very much for the compliment. I'm kinda afraid to take it apart and clean it for fear of scratching something or rubbing the straw off. It sits in an oil cloth, inside a handgun hardcase. I've never put it into the holster. Oh yeah, the holster is soft and supple where it's suppose to be and hard where required. The holster was expensive. Merry Christmas Jerry.

This is the pride of my small firearm collection without doubt.

I think I'd find another Nambu for shooting, thats a beauty.

Merry Christmas Ed.
The cased WWII 1944 large trigger guard, mixed numbered Nambu (Bottom photo with headband) will be my shooter.

I would never shoot my 1935. I don't even like handling it without my gloves. I have never seen one better.

:) relooked at the pictures, sorry, beautiful rig!

I like Nambu's
