Original P.08 Magazine Source

Inter Ordnance of Monroe, NC advertises original WWI and WWII P.08 magazines available at prices ranging from $59.95 to $99.95. Has anyone tried any of these mags? They also advertise original P-38 mags at $34.95.

Bought a couple from them 1 aluminum bottom E/63. The other plastic bottom broken plastic deformed body they exchanged for another Aluminum bottom per my request. Typical luger mags good for original replacement but do not feed well would need new springs. I had to wait awhile but they did fill order per request.

ARE YOU ABLE TO CHOSE?

Are you able to chose your numbers and type of bottom? Do they have some sort of selection list? Or is it pot luck?

Aaron, I returned the 6 PO8 mags that they sent me, as the bottoms had either been replaced or the tubes dented, etc. The reblued P38 mags that they are offering, are also available from Navy Arms @$24.95 Tom h

Aaron,

I would stay away from IO if at all possible unless you can actually go to their warehouse and see what you will get. Your best bet for a shooter magazine is to buy one of the Mec-Gar repros, or if you want a good original, have Tom Heller give you a price. Tom may have some of the E. German magazines left and they are great! Tom will treat you right, and you never know what you will get from IO.
