Great Tip - THE FORGOTTEN SOLDIER

A thread a few months back recommended this book, so I bought it for my brother as a Xmas gift. Received the book yesterday and opened it last night just to check it out. Turns out I did not put it down until midnight. What an account of the war! Thanks all for the recommendation. I can't wait till my brother is done with it so I can read it!

Your welcome...

As I stated before - it is a great book... I bought it in an airport before an overseas flight a few months ago - and found I couldn't put it down...

For the rest of you who haven't read it - get it, or put it on your Holiday Gift list..!!!

What is the name of the author, and what company published "The Forgotten Soldier"?

Here's some information for those who've read the book.

Apparently there is some controversy as to how accurate it is.

Hi Jay...

I'm not sure of the publisher, as the book is at home and I'm in the office - but here is a link to the book...

Hope this helps!

Re: Hi Jay...

Barnes & Noble has them in a paperback edition in the several stores I have been in. If it is not in stock, they can order it for you.

Ok, the link works but takes one to the homepage. Look on the left side near the bottom under -entertainment- in red.

I hope someone gets to see this information.

Well, time for 2nd shift at the autoplant. I'll check back at 2:00am or so tonight.
