Factory nickle plated Luger, just 2 made?

Seller claims that just 2 factory nickle plated guns were produced in this special series. Is this true?
The gun is nickle, some parts of the gun were blued.

this is a Mauser Parabellum late production.

This gun has been assembled most probably after 1986 using a stocked frame from a commemorative (Artillery, Navy or P08).

At the end of production Mauser started using spare frame, receiver and barrel to create pistol in a "non standard" configuration.

I have in my collection a couple of these late specimens, they are interesting and most probably nice to collect.

I have recently opened a topic about the Versuch model V15 that is is actually the first experiment Mauser made when they decided to create stocked frame with lanyard ring.

The V15 is the unique 29/70 prototype reworked to accept a stock and a lanyard. I guess you will find interesting the topic.

The seller claims that the pistol configuration that is shown was made 2 times, which is possible. The curiosity is, as Mauro mentioned, the stock lug.

In the aftermath of the Parabellum production, the late 1980s, early 90s, Mauser produced just about any configuration that people were willing to pay for, using spares they still had available. On occassions they even rebuilt existing pistols.

Mauser offered a hard chrome finish as an extra option if desired. Chrome plating was done by its sister company, the measuring tools company.

Andy, Prior to these 1980s Mausers, I only know of 3 Factory (Kreighoff) made engraved plated presentation lugers. These were presented to Hitler, Goring & Soeer in 1939. One is pictured in Jones's "Luger Variations" forward of the title page. TH

This is my Hard Chromed made by Mauser in 1972 with Ivory grips and gold plated small items.

Mauser applied in the time, different kind of bluing for the small items.

They are really nice to see...

This is one of the Mauser Parabellum Hard Chromed.

Nice find indeed.

The number of Hard Chromed Parabellum is quite scarce. Good find.
