Dear friends, prompt how correctly to put this spring please?

these can appear tricky, but are not.

use needle nose pliers, and going from right to left, insert and push the L part into the frame.

it might click in, or it may not

My directions may not translate well using whatever translator you are using.

That's one I've never done. Do you put the rt, straight end in the hole first? then fit the L end down?

yes

it will sometimes act like it'll click and sometimes acts loose or even so tight that the locking bolt will not fit, but it usually snaps into place.

Thanks for answers. You are absolutely right, with the translator it is difficult to understand.At us at a forum it is a lot of photos, I tried to make out there. But has seen nothing.It can be possible to see somewhere on a photo?

I was able to set it in place with a long thin magnet...then tapped it in place with a brass drift...while holding the grip frame in a padded jaw vise...

One warning: If you bought a "new" locking bolt spring from Numrich, throw it out immediately... ;)

Yes, a spring new. I have bought it by means of one person from our forum.....

OK, let's see how these turn out...

First pic - Spring on magnet; short end down, goes in hole...

Second pic - spring laying in groove; short end poking into hole (snug fit)

Third pic - spring pushed/tapped into hole, ready for locking bolt

Can I assume then, that you remove a worn/broken one by tapping it out with a pin punch from the bottom of the frame?

On ones that stick out I usually trim to fit flush. For springs that hard to put in, I will usually lay a toothpick(temporarily) under the spring to cause it to bend slightly as it goes in, then remove the tooth pick, Sometimes I use a 1/16" pin punch in the same manner. Bending the long part causes the short part to also bend slightly making it more aligned with the hole in the frame. Too much bend, however, might break the part. I only use this method for ones that are really stubborn to go into place.
