In need of some TLC

Perhaps Jerry can save this one?

"As can be seen by pictures holster is in need of restoration"

Perhaps the writing on the back says glücklich?

It is unfortunate that this scarce unit marked holster has been so crassly mutilated. Jerry could resurrect a semblance of its original configuration, but the damage is far beyond reasonable efforts to restore it.

I'm sure that restoration would cost more than buying a similar one in good shape. I wonder if its worth $29.95 just for parts.

Nope...which is sad because the current owner would like to believe it is worth something. It is too bad that former generations (mine) did not fully appreciate rare items and preserve them for future generations.

Brendan, Ron & Charlie are right on both counts...When you whittle on a stick it's hard to put the shavings back on. When you don't even have the shavings...it is what it is.

what about this one featured along side it . anyone know what it really is . The brass clasp looks Dutch pattern, but nothing else is familiar.
