What book is this?
Not interested in this gun, but interested in the background red covered book.
What book is this? TIA http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=139359434 |
The red covered book is "The illustrated encyclopedia of handguns" by A B Zhuk, page 210
|
I thought he was referring to the book/pages with M1896 diagrams...Does anyone know what book they're from??? It looks like the Mauser Patent diagrams...
|
Postino,
Yes, they are Mauser patent drawings. The drawings themselves can be obtained from the German patent office (amongst others), so they are relatively easy to find, hence they were reproduced in quite some Mauser related books. |
Postino,
I have the original patent application as a PDF-file somewhere. If you need it, just PM me your email. |

Just give me an hour or so to figure out how to PM on this forum... :banghead: |

Most Forums have the Email & PM/IM right at the bottom of the post...Not here... :grr:
I tried clicking on the avatar where it said Member and 2008 LugerForum Patron and nothing happened...You have to hit the username or avatar graphic *exactly*... I finally got it... ;) And as a bonus...now I know who people are talking about when they say "Gerben"... :D |
