Need help identifying Luger

Any help with this Luger is much appreciated. I also would like to know if the magazine is actually a match to this Luger.
Does the damage to the crown detract from the value significantly?
Thanks, Robert

Robert, the magazine is not original. It is a late Weimar period at the earliest

The condition is not great with some serious pitting. The muzzle damage is undesirable, but just as undesirable from a collectors standpoint is the muzzle appears to be blued. The muzzle finish should be bare metal because of the rust finisning process used. The trigger and safety lever should be heat finished to a straw color which will fade with time to a dull grey with faint traces of yellow. The trigger and safety lever appear to be finished sdark in these photos. That can also be a trick of the lighting in the photo but when you look at it they should be straw fading to grey metal. The muzzle should be bare metal but may have some darkening from rust. A correct period magazine will set you back a couple of hundred bucks although the aluminum based one you have will have significant or equal trade in value depending on its exact type and condition.
I would discourage buying this one. It may not shoot well due to the muzzle damage, the pitting indicates it has been neglected at some time, and the renumbered or forced matched magazine bottom suggests some attempt to boost the value of the pistol.
