British proof markings-values

How does the addition of British proof marking on a WWII BYF lugar effect the value? The gun is great but has the two crowns BNP on the receiver and the 9MM, 15 pounds per [] in ect.

I have always considered these as shooters. it is just a different import mark.

Jim,

It's tons, not pounds.

Unless you can find an collector of British pistols who is interested, most luger collectors consider this a negative. Most "GI" (tommy) bring back to GB had to go thru the British proof house to be legally registered, as well as all those brought in GB for sale by importers. TH
