Need help with markings

I picked this holster up some time ago and it has these markings.Could someone tell me what unit it is?

Mike,

This a somewhat unusual Reichswehr unit mark. I believe P.D. translates to Pferde (Horse) Depot . The G could represent Gerät (equipment), or most probably, the city / town where it was located, such as Glatz or Grafenwöhr. And 42 being the weapon number.
