Neat Pointy Thing

I thought I would share a recent addition to one of my special interests. I have owned a 1st Leib Hussar busby for some time, one of the favorite items in my collection. I recently "accessorized" it with a sword marked to that unit.

Ron, fantastic items. Congratulations.
btw: have you the special boxes (Pickelhaubenkoffer) and covers (Uberzug) for your german helmets?

Outstanding collection. I was looking at your Lugers in the cases too. Thats a lifetimes worth of collecting.

Ron -

Beautiful collection and beautiful display too.

May I ask where did you get those particular display cases?

Thank you,

Mauser720 - Ron

Chris,
I have only two Pickelhaubenkoffer, one came with the colonial East Asian Service helmet (the one in front with the fluted spike) and the other came with a
Wurttemburg line infantry officer’s helmet. I do not have any covers.

Charlie,
You are right, that is a lifetime of collecting. It has been 53 years in the making and it is probably time to stop. But the thrill of the hunt is still there.

Ron,
I picked up those cases at the Tulsa show a number of years back. They are made by Jomar Display Cases. The firm has a website under construction that has contact information http://jomardisplay.com/
