I picked some old copies of Guns magazine at an estate sale this weekend.
Now, I know $48 was a lot more in 1967 than now but still, wow.

I bet if there is new GCA banning importation of surplus, my Century Arms will go somewhere. Today, quite amount of them are not much higher than the list price on this 1967 ad (different brands, of course). Tomorrow, who knows. Norinco stuffs were good example, before banning, they were dirt cheap. Now, a Norinco/Polytech AK easily goes $1k - $2k. So, investing into some Romanian, Yugoslavian, Russian, Bulgarian is probably better than investing into .... OK, I agree money is not the driving force of this hobby.
