Found the mag for my 1940 P08 Mauser!!!!
 

.....A member on another forum was kind enough to check Don Hallock's master mag list, and actually found the missing mag for my 1940 Mauser P08!!!

The unfortunate part is that the owner passed away, and as is Don's habit, the data file on the owner was deleted....:banghead:

Apparently, Don does this so that the surviving family won't be bothered by collectors.....

Although I understand the logic behind this, I'm VERY disappointed....:crying:

I can only hold out hope that it will turn up someday, now that I know it was once found.

Bob, the chances of finding your matching mag are very slim! It's too bad after finding the mag, you don't even get a chance of buying it... that just sucks!

It really DOES suck!.....Now that I know it's out there somewhere, and not lost in the ground somewhere in Europe, it makes it all the MORE sucky....:)

I'm sad that Don doesn't keep the contact information, when a situation like this occurs, but I understand his reasons.....

I hold out hope that it will surface, someday.
