Is this really the same Krieghoff Co? I though that their machinery was destroyed in about 1947(?)

Jeff, it's the same company.

These pistols, a limited edition run, are made using modern CNC machining techniques.

The old Krieghoff tooling ended up in the Eastern-Block, that's why some tend to call the newly produced 1950s DDR VoPo lugers 'the last Krieghoffs' :)

$12,000.00 was the anticipated price for the new Kriefhoff Lugers... I don't know if that has changed since they made the announcement a couple years ago.
