SIG P210 replacement barrels, 9mm
 

Anybody know who makes them or has them in stock?

Seems that it's pretty difficult to get spares for these pistols. I'm acquiring for a fellow sports shooter with a shot out barrel.

He found a gun smith in Germany with a 4 month waiting list, nothing else so far.

This will be very difficult. Almost all custom barrel makers here in the US start with the 220 model.
Can't you contact SIG in Switzerland direclty?

It would seem that one of our Swiss members should be able to advise on this request... These surplus guns must have a source for replacement parts.

John, that's what I thought as well.

It seems the break-up of SIG into several divisions, the subsequent further dividing of the smaller firearms division, etc... left preciously little of the old gun branch intact. It's basically SwissArms marketing the rifles and SigSauer in Germany doing the pistol business, but nothing before the 220 series.

The Swiss gov't arsenal perished several years ago, so not much luck their either.
Basically, a lot of SIG P210 owners are in for a nasty surprise when their 'not too cheap' pistols require spares or repairs.

It's a market waiting to be exploited by a good gun smith.

Depends on what's wrong with it. You say "shot out", so if it's just the bore, you could re-line it pretty inexpensively. Gunsmiths used to do this kind of thing a lot, but they are getting harder to find. There is a place here in the USA called "Redman's" (http://www.redmansrifling.com/liners.htm) that all of the Cowboy Action Shooter who want to use original guns use. They do Mauser Broomhandles too, I hear, so they should be able to handle your problem as well. May cost a couple hundred, plus shipping, but I doubt you will find an original barrel very easily.

All I can say is make sure that whoever works on a job like this knows what he is doing, mistakes on relining jobs are hard to fix.

By relining you also get to keep the gun all matching, with the serial numbered barrel matching the frame and slide.
