Does anyone have an explanation for this g/b auction?
|
P.T. Barnum has allready explained it. :burnout:
|
Gotta say..it is creative or created.
|
Being sold "as is."
I'll pass. |
Its not a creation, it s Vopo renumbered 2 matching magazine rig with a weird ape holster ;)
Folks bidding should do their homework.... Ed |
BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The Grips are even stamped "Made in Italy" if you look closely, but they are matching!! |
Personally, I think we are reaching new lows in fraud on g/b. Look at the number of bids !
|
It even has a late date frame. It is marked P08. I should have been a writer instead of an engineer.

Ed,
Correct. Ditch the holster and the grips. Add a set of original VoPo grips and get a nice VoPo holster instead. VoPo giveaways: -Crossed out small parts numbers. -Rough muzzle crown with lone crown/N proof on the barrel bottom. -Very shiny black reblue. -2/1001 marked magazine. |

It's a myth why this one captured bidders' attention. S/42 in general is a ..... well, at least very hard to be classified as a rare variation, there are many of them in various levels of shapes floating on the market. How did people's "falcon" eyes falling on this one (neural word) is unclear..... Good for seller though.
==== Comparing with this one: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIte...Item=121899136 The seller is knowledgable and honest. "Shooter" is accurate technically, but that does not help selling. |
