Luger 1938 s/42

hi i have a luger s/42 with a m mark and this is a stainless steel gun, serial number 3159 with the number 59 stamped on all the little parts, i would appreciate any information about this gun, how many were made who made it worth and so on, thanks

If you mean your gun is shiny silver then it's been nickel or chrome plated, not made of stainless steel.
Please post a photo if you are able to aid in determining the value and vintage of your Luger.

Welcome to the forum, I moved this from the Krieghoff part of the forum to the New Collector area.

S/42 was the code of the Mauser factory

I assume the "m" marking is the suffix, so that is just under the number 3159?

You have to give a lot more information, plus pictures to determine much more than we've given you.
