29 DWM Navy

I posted my Navy over on Jan's site, so alot of you fine gentlemen have probably seen it. I have'nt been able to post pictures here, could'nt get the ooga booga.
I found this rig at a local gunshow. I though it was an oddball of sort's. Navy property mark, MA mark, no proof's on the right side, shaved front frame, 1920 chamber date, 4 inch 9mm barrel. I honestly did'nt know what to make of it. Bought it anyway, brought it home and found it in Jan's book "Weimar Lugers". Please tell me what you think. Thanks, Jesse |
Jesse,
I think you should send it to me. |
Ron......thanks for your honest opinion. I'm happy you would welcome it to your collection.;)
John's upgrade surely made it easier to upload photo's......Thanks John D. Jesse |

Jesse,
I've got two Weimar reworked Reichsmarine Lugers. Both are Ostsee marked. Both are 1917/1920 DWMs. Neither is as nice as yours. The one big plus is, that one of them is a very rare Simson rework "E/O". That is a very nice 1929. Ostsee marked pistols are a bit scarcer than Nordsee marked. Ron |
Ron.........they both look pretty dern nice to me. Your 0.1329. and my 0.1292. were probably shipmates.:D
Thank for posting them up. Jesse |
Jesse,
Very nice Weimar Navy piece! Congrats on your find! The holster, that you have showing in one of the photos, is it also Navy marked? Thanks for posting and Happy New Year! Joe Pirolo |
Very Nice!
Tom A. |
Joe.......thanks, the holster is a 1916 Rich Hanel. not navy marked. Also a spare imperial mag, I'll post a photo later.
Tom A, "very nice", words that sing coming from our resident Navy guru. Jesse |
Jesse
Can you tie the serial numbers to the property numbers. I would like to use the information in my research of R-Marine and K-Marine Navy Lugers. I recently found a rather nice and scarce K-Marine Luger. It is a 1939-S/42 number 5382n with a North Sea property number of N3596. Don |

Don,
29 DWM Navy S/N 8377s, Navy property MA O.1292. with 1920 reichswehr chamber date. All matching except the firing pin. And I don't know about the mag, a matching number but I think a field armorer match. Don, I hope/ think this is what you want. If not please don't hesitate to ask. I'll send photo's of whatever you'd like. I would be proud to have it included in your research. I just happened upon it on dumb luck. From my research I'm finding they are somewhat scarce. Blue Skies, Jesse :D ps, here's a couple photo's of the mag's i promised. |
Jesse
That certainly was a great find, I hunted for years before one finally found it's way to my vault. The - s - block MA Lugers are a special breed. Good Luck Don |
Ron
Can you tie your property numbers to serial numbers and pistol descriptions for my R-Marine research? thanks |
Do any of you guys have any Navy marked takedown tools? I need pictures of any variation that is available.
Thanks Don. |
Don, I haven't any navy tools, the fellow I bought the gun from said it had a "key" but he had misplaced or somehow lost it.......:(
til later.....Jesse |

C/M marked tool I bought from Derek Seltzer several years ago.

I wonder what the serial number and letter suffix might be that are attached to O.1329 and O.190. Research requirements.
Thanks |
George Anderson is selling a couple of guns for me. Among them is a RM marked LP-08 with a Anchor M proofed holster, tool and rod. The gun is at Louisville now at SOS.
