Could Someone Identify These Grips, Please?
Picked these up at a recent gun show. They are made of a hard, brittle, brown plastic material. They fit better than any repros I have seen,in fact, as well as the Nill wooden grips. Would like to know what they are.
Thanks for your comments. Luke http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/BrownPlasticGrips.jpg |
Re: Could Someone Identify These Grips, Please?
Luke, Are they checkered? Edges bare? Look on the inside and you will likely find small holes about the size of a BB in the middle and look to see if the inside of these are threaded. In all likelyhood these would be Krieghoff grips depending on the answers to the above questions. Let me know..Jerry

Re: Could Someone Identify These Grips, Please?
Those appear to be what I have often heard referred to as 'Bullseye' replacement grips. Most that I have seen have been black or almost black and were on East German reworked pistols.

East German Volkspolizei Luger Grips
found on many of the East German re-worked Lugers...
While likely of little monetary value ( I have seen them go on auctions for less than $15.00) I also understand that they are good grips that fit well and would be fine a shooter grade lugers (while shooting of course). Tom Heller usually has some of these in stock... regards, John Sabato |
Thanks for your help. Tom Heller, do you have these?
Jerry, Bill, John:
Thanks or your comments. Unfortunately, these did not turn out to be Krieghoff grips (What a nice surprise that would have been.) but EGerman VoPo grips as John Sabato and Bill commented. Luke |
Re: Could Someone Identify These Grips, Please?
Without question, E. G. replacements. I had a pair of these on my Luger prior to replacing them with grips by Hugh Clark.
