1910 dwm
Hi guys I have a 1910 dwm in excellent original condition. I would say it's 98% or better. This gun does not have a hold open when mag is empty....From what I understand they were recalling these and fitting them with hold opens. It seems this one never made it back to the armory..
Can anyone confirm this??? Thanks |
yes, that is true

Thank you...was not sure

Are there any markings on the front grip strap?
|
no markings on the grip strap

sorry there are marks on grip strap...looks like B2R93

That explains the lack of a hold open. For what ever reason, the Bavarians did not comply with the directive to add the hold open (the "B" indicates Bavarian issue...that is what George was looking for :)).

1910 stamped on breech

Bavarian 2nd Infantry Regiment, weapon 93. That's a relatively scarce unit mark. The regiment was garrisoned in Munich.
