Portuguese holster and rod
5 Attachment(s)
Well, it certainly looks, feels and smells old and came with an nice example of an original cleaning rod (with even smellier grease remains inside).
The holster is double lined, has the A.E stamp and shows signs of repair at the flap. The name of a previous owner is almost invisibly present on the rear right hand corner. Can't make out the name (yet) but at least it looks Southern-European to me :) Comments are welcomed as this is not my particular area of expertise. |
Thst's a pretty good example of the textured leather holster with the welted edges. Usually they are a bit doggy with the welt cracked or pieces of it missing, yours seems intact.

The rod is good too. It is swaged into the steel part like it's supposed to be.
