Luger grip info
2 Attachment(s)
Hello, all.....
I wonder if any of you would give me some information on these grips, (repro/post-war, etc.) since I have none....:) Cheers, Bob. |
Hi Bob, they appear to be WWII Mauser grips!! :)
|
Frank,
Thank you. Would they be correct period grips for a 1940 Mauser P08, or should I continue looking for WaA marked ones? Bob. |
Bob,
The photo cuts off the part of the grip that is the most often broken... (million dollar chip). Ask for more photos to be sure they are complete. |

It seems that the grip hasn't bee "Van Goghed".....The ear remains....:)
Cheers, Bob. |
Bob, I think I see numbers on the inside surface of the grips. Perhaps 31 or 34. These grips would be suitable for a 1940 Mauser Military Luger and if the inside numbers match the last two digits of your pistol serial number, that would be super!! :jumper:
|
Frank,
When I lightened the original photo, the number is clearly "34". Thanks for the information. I'm grateful. Bob. |
