"Borrowed" pictures from friends. Truck plates and faces were masked for protection purpose.

Many old stuffs' life are ended this way. Good news or bad news?

I can just imagine what gets destroyed. Some should go to museums

Quite an horrible sight !!

This is probably what's ahead of us here in Canada a few years from now...as we dont have ``rights to possess firearms``...Only a privilege that can be revoked by govmt officials...

Sights like this sicken me. It only makes life "safer" for the criminal element.

I won't shed a tear for the SKS's but the box o' Mausers, oh my god!
Nooo!

Images like these make me feel sick!
As said above I don't care about most of those guns but you can spot some very interesting and potentially collectable handguns there...

What I heard was the boss could not sleep well because of those surplus guns in stock. It's hard to secure them, and if stolen, his future would not be bright anymore. So, ...., those guns are now contributing to the "Great Construction of Motherland" :) Pix from gun lover, unfortnately, not in a decision making position.

Cities should at least strip them down for parts...........That would bring quite a bit of revenue!

Although on the other hand.....everytime a luger is destroyed, there is one less.........increasing value of collector pieces.

You know...... I spent time in a few forums. The pix came from one of the sites as marked. One former member of that forum was a retired HongKong police officer, who was a big time gun lover, screen name "Dannie", who smuggled 900+ rounds of airgun pellets, a few empty brass cartridge cases, and seven live shotgun shells to another member in .... I don't know that city but I believe in Southern China. I just heard the seller was arrested at custom and sentenced "only" 7 years in jail (original report explained "since those have not cause any damage, so only 7 years"). I chatted with him a couple of years ago regarding a Mauser Red 9.... now he's in jail. No wonder I have not seen him posting anything for a while.

Geez...
You don't excatly arm an army with airgun pellets and empty shells. So I guess the 7 years would be for the 7 shotgun shells. Based on that.. my 2000+ shotgun shells would give 2000+ years behind bars

I believe the 7-year-sentence was a WARNING sign. There is no C&R in strict gun-banning world. Guns, regardless of types, show their "TRUE" face. Criminals could use Borchardt for robbery. There were reports of robbing cabs using Mauser, robbing banks using Inglis. Not because old ones were preferred, simply because it's not easy to get a modern one to perform the "job". Guns are not layered there.
