I'm imposing upon your collective expertise once again, in order to determine the authenticity of this tool, given to me by a good friend who is unsure, himself.
If determined to be acceptable, would it be correct for my 1940 Mauser?

Bob, Your is one of the repros that Sarco is selling for around $20. The correct loading tool for your 1940 PO8 would be an E/655 marked one. I have these available in the For Sale section @$75 + S&H. Lugerdoc.
