Two Carbines
 

I have recently examined what I believe are a 1902 Carbine and a 1920 Navy Carbine, as well as Luger DWM S/N 18** with threaded 4" barrel and silencer. I would be grateful if you could share your input as who would be a front line expert to ask his/her opinion on authenticity & condition. I would also be grateful if you could share your suggestions on the best reference books available on Lugers in general and on Luger carbines in particular. Thanks to all. Best regards.

Best thing to do is to have the carbine in hand, and then ask speciific questions about it.

Your statements are a bit vague, so kind a hard to give you specifics, but there are several members here who know carbines very well.


As for books, see the New Collectors area dn read the thread on Book Recommnedations. There are no carbine specific books out there; and it is an easy way to get burnt as they are expensive....

Thanks for your input Edward. My message was deliberately vague. That is why I was asking for a referral to an expert on these subjects, as to consult her/him privately and if possible, engage his /her services in such a role. Best regards.
