New guy with old holster.

Dear All,
My name is Dennis aka "Biomass". Since a few weeks i'm really interested in second world war holsters and their markings. Today I acquired my first P08 holster. It has been found in the forest near the area of Arnhem (Groesbeek to be exactly) a while after the battle for Arnhem. Today, I bought it a national auction site. Can you guys tell me a bit more about the stamps and value? It's really in bad condition! Thanks and best regards, Dennis |
Holster
Dennis - Your holster was made by the firm of Gustav Genschow & Co. AG (Geco). The code JHG and the WaA 286 was used by that company. Your holster was made in 1941. The value - ? not much. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer. Fortunately I did not pay much for it!
It's nice to have the name of the manufacturer. Again thanks  |
