Is my Luger genuine
 

I have a deactivated Luger P-08, well thats what it says on the screw on plate between the safety catch and the trigger slide plate.

There are no other number or marks on it apart from 1720 again on the plate and the barrel apears to be moulded into the receiver.

It also has the word safe stamped into the safety bar

Please can anyone help I suspect it is a replica but on the other hand with a firing pin and the barrel unblocked it appears it would fire .
