1913 Luger Holster brown Dresden

Hello, I am not specialized in weapons. But is this Luger Holster rare and looked for? What could it be worth? The holster was made by Dresdner Sattlerinnung and it is authentic what I can guarantee.

Only the upper stitching of the belt loops have been modified. The tool could be from an other year but it is at least pre 1945.

Many thanks for all feedback!

Christian, This is a nice holster. Not particularly rare but the color is desirable as is the date. The maker mark & date are firmly struck. The only real drawback to this holster is the modification of the top belt loops & the small bit of damage to the top of the front closure strap.
Here in the US I would expect it to sell for $200-250 USD.
If the belt loops were NOT modified it could easily bring $300-325 USD or more as it is in exceptional shape on the front.

Thanks for your help. I sold the holster at Ebay Germany for â?¬361 (approx. $450). The customer and myself are satisfied.

Christian, The Euro is strong and your buyer didn't know what a true collector holster is supposed to look like... so he overpaid. The damage on this one would not appeal to a sophisticated knowledgeable collector.
I can well imagine that you are satisfied. Congratulations!

Some sellers are just lucky, like this guy. Nice looking early holster, but as you mentioned, it's value has been compromised.
