Vopo Luger Mauser Banner
With such a nice day out today I snapped a few pics of my nice newly aquired Vopo Luger from Ed Tinker. He really hooked me up on this fine specimen
It's a Mauser Banner 1942 dated gun. It has a Nazi Eagle -L on the right frame. It looks like it once had a sear safety since there's the hole there. I assume it's a former Nazi police issued gun? All the parts appear to match except the togge pin. It came with two matching mags, holster including the loading tool. I exchanged a spare set of vintage luger grips for the "photo shoot". She takes good pictures! http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/vopo_luger_ls.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...r_rs_copy1.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/vopo_luger_top.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...luger_wg_2.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/vopo_luger_wg.jpg |
Nice gun.
What are the barrel markings? Crown/N or the original barrel markings? I still think the VoPo grips are amongst the sexiest luger grips available. :D |
The barrel is devoid of any markings other than 8,82 on the underside...

Warhogg PLEASE read this post that is a "sticky" at the top of the New Collectors forum about why your photos need to be posted HERE instead of a place like photobucket... http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...threadid=20081 |
Thanks for your patience with a newbie...I uploaded new pics according to your instructions.
Darn Newbies! :grr: I've perpetuated the stereotype, eh? |
