Burrel, welcome to the forum.
It is a 1915 DWM and appears in really nice shape, except for the GI's sn, but that could also be appealing to some collectors... The soldier had his serial number put onto it; interesting. Is this your relative? Said he joined in 1941. I am in the Bensalem area for work each day.... 33166985 ROBERxxxx#LYNN#M######## PENNSYLVANIA WESTMORELAND NEW CUMBERLAND PENNSYLVANIA |
Hiya,Yessir...that was my uncle Lynn McKay...I got this and another piece,a 25 auto mauser stamped 1910 with a grey holster.
I never realized he actually had it personally stamped with his serial number. |
