DWM Chamber marking ?
I'm looking at a mismatched 9mm 4" P.08 with DWM toggle . Possibly a military rebuild and dip blue finish . No import stamps that I can see .
The unusual thing (to me) is that it appears to have the DWM logo where the chamber date would normally be located . Is this unusual ? Thank you . |
The recveiver is from a model 1908 Bulgarian Luger. Take a look at the safety marking it should be a cyrillic marking. These guns were imported decades ago and you will find them with all sorts of mixed parts.

Thanks for the quick reply .
Definately has mixed parts . The safety on this one is marked GESICHERT and extractor is GELADEN . |
Looks like your Bulgarian 1908 receiver has been used to repair a German military Luger... A shooter, but definitely a unique one. There aren't many of those Bulgarian receivers just laying around.

Don't think I'll get hurt at $499 then . It's got a solid bore .
Thanks John . |
You certainly didn't get hurt. At $499, that is a darned good price for a shooter, and the relatively scarce Bulgarian receiver (and possibly barrel?) is just icing on the cake...good for you!
