3D model Mauser Cone Chammer
|
Very, very, very nice work!!!
|
Absolutely beautiful! One small comment...there is no step in the barrel of a conehammer, unless the barrel has been replaced. The step is found on a Model 1930.
|
Vladimir,
Your graphics work is absolutely amazing! |
Absolutely cool !!!
It will be even better if the front sight could be drawn higher..... low profile front sight only appears on fix sight CH. Best drawing that I've seen so far! ===== If I could find a CH in this pristine condition, I will be ALL on it. |
The dude can do some serious CAD!! I am impressed! I especially like the CAD of the 20-Shot Cone Hammer, one of which I have in my collection.
Fabulous, Albert P.S. Typical! - Ron had to make a comment, but the ring on your diagram does not show on the surface. However, for accuracy, the ring should be eliminated. |
This CAD (computer product?) drawing indeed paid lots of attention to details, including the polished frame edge between the grip and lock frame lug in the 2nd picture! The rear sight pin and the top of rear sight ramp are not blued either.
I assume the trigger in "white" being correct.... some color pictures in Erickson's book showing strawed trigger, but all instances (standard CHs) that I've met so far do not show any trace of golden color on triggers. Maybe too old to keep that color (less likely because the whole trigger assembly, inside out, is in white), or maybe there are some sub-variations. |
Most of you new guys on this forum are impressed by Vladimir's ability and rightly so, but what makes his graphics so much more impressive is that living in Russia, he has no chance to own the guns he draws... the drawings are created from his engineering imagination from studying other drawings and photographs...and blueprints when they are available.
to see other examples of his work, do a search of the forums for other posts he has made. He has been kind enough to share all of his previous work with us... Thanks again Vladimir. |
Thank you all for good words.
Ron I understand comparatively M30. My 3D-model Cone Chammer has not this. This ®¯²¨·¥ª¨© dog-leg. Albert You ¨¬¥¥¼¥ in its collections the 20-Shot Cone Hammer? WAW!!!!! This much splendid. You may send me several photographies? I shall much thanked You. I wants to do 3D-model all varieties Mauser C96. But I have little information and qualitative photographies Mauser and parts. I in the same way have a greater problem with drawings Mauser C96/ Someone can help I search these drawings? I much likes Mauser C96 and Luger. But to regret in Russia this not real that have this. Possible someone does a book comparatively Mauser C96. I was lucky have a possibility to help to do beautiful jpgs for this books for different models Mauser C96. But me needed qualitative drawings. I shall very lucky any help from you. Thank you. |
Your work is amazing Makarov!

Too few persons wanted "papers" in 1945. Looks like almost everyone rushed to "hardware". It's too late to regret for their near-sightness.
I have not seen any complete dementional drawings of C96 nor Luger. It will be great work in this area, probably via reverse-engineering. Lots of work, thanks for the effort. |

Hello Vladimir,
With the superb CAD which can create, you could easily find a very high paying job in Europe (likely with a major arms manufacturer) if you could 'escape' from Russia. You have some brillant talent which is hard to find. Great work, Albert Send me an e-mail to imperialarms@att.net and I shall send you some images of my 20-Shot plus a few other Mauser C96 pistols - that should keep you busy! |

Here is my virtual 20-shot ;)
|
Today I has seen this link about Mauser 20-round magazine.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=110686403 Anyone can write a letter a seller and ask to take photographs this pistol? This was very big help for me. Thank you. |
Vladimir -- I'm lost. You must be interested in very specific area.... the seller posted a few pictures in his advertisement. If you could be more specific, I could send him a message asking for help (help or not will be up to him, I am not bidding on his item, but there are various kinds of people in the cyberspace, we never know).

Sent Mr. Martin an invitation to this thread. If he's curious about "What are they talking about my gun", he will come. :)
|
Thank you.
Was much splendid, if Mr. Martin has done many different photographies of this pistol. Ideal variant - to place on the scanner and do a many scene of each detail. I in the same way can do some beautiful 3D-jpgs for Mr. Martin - for the advertisment of its pistol. |
