Hi Ken,

It's a reblued parts gun. Erfurt was out of the picture by the end of the war. DWM was the only maker of commercial exports in the early 20s.

Thanks Ron. I didn't think any commercial Lugers were produced at Erfurt.

I believe that Thailand did receive some WW1 Surplus PO8s after WW1, as I've seen several with the Thai Police "Lion's head" marking on the rear of the frame. TH

I can see that the fonts used for the serial numbers are different: rounded top on the "3" on the frame, receiver, take-down lever, trigger bar, safety lever, etc., versus the flat-topped "3" on the barrel, sideplate, front and rear sections of the toggle, rear sight base and slider, etc.

So it's either force matched, or an upper from an artillery Erfurt put on a lower with a matching number(?!).

Also, is it correct for the front section of the toggle, the part with the "Erfurt" stamp, to have a "37" on the SIDE versus the top?

TooTech:
Don't know about the correctness of the "37" on the toggle but with a parts gun any thing is possible. If not surplus received after WW1, the toggle should have been marked with a Mauser Banner.
