You have a Erfurt made Luger that has seen some service.
The proof stamping on the right as pictured are, Imperial Crown over Gothic letter inspection stamps for the German Army. These stamps were applied during various phases as the pistol was produced.

The one to the far right that looks like a bird is an Army test fire proof. You will notice that all of the parts on an Erfurt have the Army inspection stamp (crown over letter) near the partial serial number.

The small letters RC are often found on late War Erfurts.

gercolctor, thanks..........I will keep notes on this piece.
When you say that it has seen some service,.............do you feel it is very worn??
