This gun is very clean my camera doesnt take good pics up close

it has the dwm scroll mark on top

you asked about the letter below the 1495 below the barrel on front of gun it appears like a

cursive letter t

on the left side of the gun just behind the barrel is a capitol letter N like this N block letter and there is a small crown above it

on the left side of the front site facing up is the # 62

on the rear of the grip torwards the bottom appears a slotted area that might be for a rifle stock attachment along with a rectangle ring on the back of the gun behind the safety

there is no other markings that i can see

there is 2 clips with wood base one still has i believe is 8 original rounds neither clip has any markings.

This had a 3 1/8 " barrell
in excellent shape
with holster
2 clips one with original rounds-8 with no markings
9mm
wodd checkered grips
it has a crown marking with the letter N below it
serial # 1495
with 95 in several other places
GESICHERT IS MARKED IN THE UPPER POSITION FOR THE SAFETY
pics attached

can anyone help me to find out

what is actual model?
what is actual year?
what is approximate value?

one person thought it might be a 1920 or 1921 commercial

Hi Chas,

Welcome to the forum.

The SN suffix is a t? Are the last two digits of the serial number stamped in obvious places? Such as on the outer surface of the side plate, take down lever, etc. Or are they stamped on the bottom edge of the side plate and take down lever?

Are there any markings on the right side of the receiver?

Ron

Chas, welcome to the forum. I have moved this to the New Collector area, instead of the help and feedback forum.

Chas, The Crown/N marking is a commerical proof, so it's possible that your luger is a 7.65mm. I'd check that before attempting to shoot your 9mm ammo. I'd also check the ammo head stamps, since if it's as old as the pistol, it may have some collector value. When measuring the barrel, it should include the chamber area, so measure from the front of the muzzle all the way back to the extractor groove at the back of the chamber. TH
