Canadian attempts to board plane with SAA
Would be funny if it weren't so utterly stupid!:crying:

:D
This could happen in many airports all over the world.. Security personnel will never be smacked on their fingers for being too strict, but is in danger of loosing their job if they are butterfingered. So it's quite natural.. I'm glad we have these controls, but some of it does not make all that much sense to me. Especially on those long distance flights, we still receive sharp steak-knifes, metal peanut boxes and various items made of glass. Also, with no limit of how much liquid one can bring, just the size of each container. Combined with no restrictions regarding lighters and bottles of spirits from the fax free.. well, one can only hope one is packed for a party |
So if I have my Guns and Ammo magazine stuck inside a Ladies Home Journal does that constitute unlawful concealed carry?

Hugh, That's choice!
How do you know it wasn't a real gun?" asked Guy, a security agent with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, who also declined to provide his last name. "Who knows if there is a gun that small that can shoot bullets? You don't know that. They followed the rules." Hiring people that stupid is a crime itself! I think Hitler's minions said something similar...we were just following orders! Jerry Burney |
If you think those Canadians security folks were stupid, you should check what their Human Rights Court is doing to Macleans magazine over an article by Mark Steyn. Hint: The article was said to be offensive to a "minority" group.
