Mike,
That's a pretty neat little .32. Ron |
Ron,
Too bad it's not a .380, or I would bid on it! Mike:cheers: |
Mike,
You would have some competition. I love .380s... Ron |
I love .32's, actually prefer them over the .380. But I won't be bidding on this one. Too many other things I want more.
|
That is neat and I agree if I was going to throw that much of a rebuild into one a 380 would be a better investment. Its no longer C&R qualified thou correct?
|
I wouldn't think the rework would change the C&R status of the gun, its still an "antique" Colt. I agree that doing to a 32 instead of a 380 was an excercise in futility!:(
|
I agree with Hugh... modifications do not change the C&R status... The gun is still over 50 years old...
|
Well if its still a C&R that does make it even more marketable, neat(but neater in 380!).
I thought I read somewhere in that phonebook of rules, and I could very well be wrong it happens all the time, something about orginal configuration or is that for military? |
C &R?
I talked to the seller ( Mark Wipurd ) about an earlier conversion. He had talked to a BATFE Agent and he said that as long as the receiver and slide were original ( both s/n'd together ), than the gun was C & R legal.

Now, this is my idea af a neat carry gun
