Hello John,

Based on the borderline grips, your Luger is not a M1900, instead a M1929.

Is the magazine pouch from A&F? Is there an A&F logo stamped at the rear of the magazine pouch?

Cheers,
Albert

Albert,

I should have mentioned that this was the refinished 1900 AE shooter that I got a little while ago with Swiss grips. In this picture you can see the toggle. The pouch and belt are unmarked but the holster has the A&F logo although it sure looks like a Heiser to me.

The mag pouch has a distinctly Bulgarian look about it.

Hello John,

I have noticed this type of holster made by Heiser in the 1920's and retailed by A&F.

If the pouch is unmarked, I doubt that it was retailed by A&F. I had seen many, many years ago an original A&F pouch, and it is suppose to have an A&F stamp on the top of the closing strap.

The Abercrombie & Fitch Logo on the back of the holster:

I checked the mag pouch again - there are zero markings on it.

Cool holster but I don't like the frilly stuff. For some reason I prefer the open Luger holsters.
