Extra long barrel luger

Gents what do you feel is a good price for this luger. Thanks Joe. http://www.auctionarms.com/search/di...temnum=8506929

It is a mis-matched shooter. It has a 1908 Bulgarian receiver mated to a long barrel. The current bid is $700, which is close to the max that I would estimate the gun is worth, and the reserve has not been reached. I suspect the seller probably wants over $1000 for it. I wouldn't pay that much, but perhaps it speaks to you?

Thanks Ron . Joe

further down the page the seller states that the reserve is " a little more than twice the currant bid!" me thinks stay far away from this one.

Hi Alf,

Well, officially not, but there were a lot of commercial variations available during the 1920s and early 30s. This particular barrel is interesting, as it was commercially proofed in Germany (crown/N proof).

Well, it looks like the reserve was met. It's at 1500 now. at the rate prices are going up I may be able to retire on the profits of my lone luger!

Where would you keep a gun like that? In a golf bag next to your putter?

Dave in TN.

Someone needs to compensate for something ;-)

Would be fun to try it a couple of times, just to see how it function. A lot of mass in motion..
