double date Erfurt 1914/1920
Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I have a 1914 /1920 double date Erfurt, with all numbers matching 297L (except the mag). The bluing has a brown tinge about 95%, with the only apreciable wear at the muzzle and some on the backstrap, no pitting or rust, and a bore that looks immaculate. I purchased this from a neighbor many years ago who was a huge luger collector. Any thoughts on value?

Anyone out there?

Sorry that no one has been able to answer you but your information is rather limited and finish is a very subjective issue... your 95% may be someone else's 75%...
Please post a couple of good clear focus closeups of both left and right side of the gun and also a top view... if you want a close estimate... Canadian Values are difficult to estimate (unless one of our Canadian members steps up and helps out). What I can say effectively is that your gun is worth at least $500 and depending on the finish, grip condition, and any accessories, it could be worth more than twice that... show us the photos and we will do a much better estimate for you.
