Simson at Last and Not Jessica
Being an old lower, with O.C.D., having to buy every book dealing with our common obsession, I finally received Ed,s new Pulitizer winner, Simson Luger. At first glance Ed Tinker an Graham Johnson have designed a beautifil hardbound historical treatise. I know none other so professionally treating a historical and beautiful work, filled to the brim with beautiful closeups, each variation, interspaced with their personal knowlege aquired for more then 60 years. The only book that comes close is the Parrrabelllum, Swiss Luger beauty.I can only imagine how one book, like Luger At Random will boost the sales and value, of this for most part, ignored or forgotten beautiful luger. Great work, which will fore ever outlive you and your reader.

Eric, I could not have said it better myself. If you have not bought a copy of Ed's book on Simson Lugers you are cheating yourself. I hear he didn't print many so you better get one now before they show up on Ebay as "out of Print" like Jan Still's.
I get no commission for this plug...I just like the book. Jerry Burney |

I think we all could/should be Proud that one of us, who devoted countless hours of building our site, has finally realized his goal, through countless time and effort, to write, record and protect one aspect of our favorite passtime. Thank You,

We need to thank and owe much to all the authors who have added so much to our collecting. Books such as Ed's ,Grahams and Jans are especially meaninful with all the faked, forged and boosted lugers showing up in greater numbers every day. A big thank you to the current authors and authors of books to come. Without these books and the two forums I wouldn't dare collect anymore. Bill

I must commend Jan for the new luger Bible. effectivly he has replaced anything written before. Whats more, he made it afordable to the usual collector, I cant imagine paying $400 one the other books.I cant imagine Jans making enough for postage. He will be judged by his contemporaries,God Bless!and Thank You and Frances, and others who make their knowlege and experience affordable

Thank you gentlemen and especially Eric, I know how long it can take you to write a paragraph with upper and lower case. Thanks my friend, a true compliment
