Warning---scam----Warning

I just learned a hard expensive leson. I have always been told not to pay with Western Union transfer. I have never heard of MoneyGram or TRUSTe escrow but they had the GunsAmerica logo on them and seller said that was his choice of payment. He shows the GunsAmerica Store logo and shows as a gold member.
Only after I made the payment did I find out that TRUSEe does NOT do escrow and their web site has a fraud warning on the first page. You can not trust logos and fancy wording to protect you. Try reporting a seller to GunsAmerica. next to impossible. Cover your bases before sending any payment to anyone. Thanks. Doug:grr:

As far as I know it is impossible to report someone to GunsAmerica. Their web site does not give you any way to contact them, not even snail mail. If I recall correctly, GunListOnline is even worse. I was outright cheated by one of their members and determined to report him: no success.

They do not allow you any communication access, because they do not want to hear from people who have problems with transactions. Not a customer friendly company.

I finaly got an e-mail to GunsAmerica listing the seller and the 4 guns he had listed for sale. I gave them the listing numbers for the 4 guns. They replied that there was no seller of that name nor guns listed under those numbers. I checked GA's site afterward and they were still listed for sale. I e-mailed them with that info and got a reply saying the seller and the guns are now removed. They didn't thank me for the warning or time spent getting the listings removed. Doug

I've got $10 that says that seller and those guns are back very soon.

I have nothing to do with GunsAmerica. I won't even look at their listings.

I still look at it and occasionally buy, but only from a dealer and only with a credit card so I have recourse if the "mint" gun he sells me is only 90% (which has happened).

Some of you who have been hanging out here for a few years might remember the big stink GA had about Nazi or even German guns. They didn't want them on their site. Said they were evil etc. I quit visiting there at that time. I have never been back. I think the owners were Jewish or something.
I want to go on record, the Nazi's were evil bastards and did horrible things. This has NOTHING to do with my collecting German guns , holsters, badges, belt bucles or medals. I collect historical not Political artifacts.

A couple months ago I was getting e-mails from a site that looked like PayPal. The text would say that there is something wrong with my account. I reported it to yahoo.com as spam and never opened the e-mail, as I don't have an account at PayPal!!
These guys want your numbers, be very careful !!!!!!
