IM A BIG FAN, lookup ammunition under accessories, its where i found what early luger ammo looked like, I now own almost all of them, Im missing 9mm Naval any price, Eric

So does anyone know where I might obtain a manual for a 1906 model or pre WW1 Luger . I guess original ones will be rare and valuable . Even a nicely done copy would do, just to add to the collection ?

raygun, I have a couple of copies of Stoeger's 1964 reprint of their earlier manual. These deal with '06 types as well as '08's and include color fold-outs. Email me at keoki77@earthlink.net. You pay postage to the bottum of the world and I'll send you one.

Raygun... Nice avatar, but would you mind doing a little cropping or sixe reduction so that it doesn't distort the left frame in the discussion pages? If you need help with this, let me know. Thanks.

If the basic quality is good enough, I can even look into a possibility to have them reprinted again.

Gergen. these were reprinted by Stoeger from a post WWI manual and were very well done. They have a red cover and were sold for $1.25 in 1964. They are still pretty common here in the States so I doubt that it would pay to reprint. In fact there is actually a reprint available of the original DWM publication in German.

I know about the DWM reprints. They exist in several versions and are very good replicas of the original ones. I've got the DWM Parabellum version in both the wide and the normal variation, the LP08 manual and a C/96 reprint as well.

There are also cheaper A5-sized copies on the market, but these are more of the stencil/photocopy type.

The reprinting would depend upon several factors of course, but I think a new reprint could be offered for relatively little money.

John , thats excellent , I couldn't find a way to upload it myself , thought it had to go through the administration , so I sent it to them and they put it up for me . But I would be happy for you to change it for me , or point me to the link on how to do it . There doesn't seem to be a link in my profile .

I should think there would be a small but ready market for quality reprints
of original Luger manuals . Its nice to have the gun complete with accessories and manual .

Van , if you can find me a nice copy of a Dutch Luger manual , I would be keen to obtain one of those too ?
