Sad day at GT's...

Hello to all, I recently heard a quote that went something like this, "Try to be half the man your dog thinks you are" Sums up how I feel with the passing of our family dog PANZER today... He was a much loved, gentle, friendly, large male Boxer, and this afternoon, he passed quietly over to where ever it is that all good dogs go... The reason I posted this is because some of you may remember him from the first two gatherings we had as a forum group... he was much loved, and will be missed.... Best to all, til...lat'r....GT

Hi G.T.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your dog. It sure sounds like he was a good friend also.

Regards,
Ron

I understand GT. I lost both of these last year.

He is waiting for you, but don't be in a hurry, they wait well.

GT, Terry and my condolences; we lost Heather last year, and so we understand; and it is tough to have them gone.

A heartbreak that no words can comfort. We lost the only lady pup we had last summer. She was 12. Only 4 boys left now and my wife and I are not sure we can go through another loss like that one, but somehow we get through it. They are like children to us.

He was a great dog GT. It will sadden my grandsons as well to know that he is gone. They enjoyed him when we visited you.

GT,

I know how you feel. Our old Aussie is getting close and it hurts everyday to see him getting closer. Our condolences...

Many Thanks!!! To all you fellows, that have shared the same privilege and joys with your pets, that I have had with this dog... I don't know when they cross over from just a dog, to part of the family, or, as many of you have written, a best friend.. But they do... I thought growing old had made me hard as stone.. But, it's not the case when your dog dies from old age.. Couldn't have handled any P.38's yesterday.. they would have got pretty rusty... It is certainly a common bond once shared...Thanks again to all of you guys for the kind words of comfort.. You have helped... Best to all, til...lat'r...GT
