Unit mark
 

Gentlemen:

Could someone help me with the unit markings on my most recent acquisition. It is an apparently correct 1910 DWM, hold open added.No sear safety or 1920 reichswehr stamp.
The front strap is unit marked with 10D.5.4. Could the D possibly mean a Dragoon unit ?

I would assume that the marking actually reads "10.D.5.4.". If this is correct it indicates Dragoon Regiment 10, Squadron 5, weapon 4. I would appreciate it if you could post photos. I would also like to know the serial number of the pistol for my records.
