1941 byf Vet bringback

1941 Mauser, byf code, serial 1415u, all matching with two fxo black bakelite bottoms and a SE/137 tool in the pouch. Got this Luger from the vet in 1994, along with his capture paper. Paper was issued on 13 February 1946 by a captain in the 222 Infantry, Anti-Tank Co.

You're not a winner if the extra round in the magazine causes a jam. Make sure you have test fired it a lot fully loaded (some mags like .30 Carbine should always be downloaded a few).

If the cartridges are loaded to the correct OAL and charge specifications, the Luger functions perfectly with 8 in the magazine. Current production, shortly loaded, commercial ammo may well cause jamming, as the more you add to the magazine, the more the top cartridge is canted downward. An interesting and accurate observation for a Luger shooting modern ammo! Sieger |
