Niceeeeeeeeeee Oh, yes post away, I like Simson's too!
Thank you for the very clear pics! Vern |
wow, looks like a nice honest piece (and really nice one).
I need to start looking and seeing how many have letters underneath the sideplate... Ed |
Anna,
An excellent presentation, and I hope the first of many from your new collection. If I may be so bold to suggest, if you take photographs for your next Luger profile against something other than a white background, the dark gun itself will bemuch better exposed and lighter in the pictures. --Dwight |
Thanks, Dwight, I almost kinda noticed that when I was trying to get some bitty tiny eagles to show up, it worked better against the dark fabric of my pants.
Confused the camera less. I will do better next time, promise. I have learned what *good* Luger photography looks like since I have been on this forum. Now I get to try to attain that myself, and I am NOT a photo person, trust me. Trying to pick the next one to photograph for y'all... The Prototype? Some Krieghoffs? The 06 Presentation? AEs? What's your pleasure? |
Anna,
OMG!!! Are you talking about a 1898 or 1899 prototype? That's my pick to be next. Mike C. |
Mike, my answer to her question (to myeslf) was, yes...
I vote prototype, then AE's :) |
I will post on the "Prototype" later today, after I get some pics.
No, not an 1898 or 99 variety, but a 1902 9mm with a tiny screw through the toggle top over the toggle lock, purported to be a Prototype Experimental 9mm. I dunno, I will let you all see it and tell me what you think. The deeper I get into this collection, the more questions I seem to have. Thanks to all for the kind posts. |
Very nice Simpson and with a matching mag. Impressive.
Thanks for sharing Joe |
Very nice, thanks!
