Hugh Clarks Baby Luger, restored by Bill Adair
I got this from a forum member earlier this year. It's a Baby Luger conversion done by another forum member, the infamous Hugh Clark! I didn't like the shiny, high polished steel of this Lugers "in the white" finish. After some serious begging, Bill Adair, a fine craftsman in his own right, finally agreed to take this on and it's now done, just a couple of weeks after sending it off.
Bill did a great job on it, I think! These are the preliminary pictures Bill took to satisfy my curiosity. I can't wait to get it back and take some more pics... Thanks to both Bill and Hugh for making my humble collection that much brighter... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...BabyLugerR.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../BabyLuger.jpg |
OHHHHHHH, that is sweeeet!

Bill Adair's site says he is taking no new work for the 1/2 half of 2008 and especially not Luger work...he wants to cut his back-log and focus on othe arms more interesting to him personally...
No plated guns either... http://www.restoration-gunsmith.com/ |
Doug, I'm sorry for your loss.... (not really) :D
You already know how long I've waited to have this done. I was so happy that Bill accepted this job you have no idea. He does awesome work and is very easy to work with. Very knowledgeable dude... |
