My fxo plastic base P08 mags
Hey guys, I thought I would post pics of my plastic base fxo mags. One has a serial number and the other doesn't. I recently saw a for sale thread with a guy selling one for $300! I understand they are going up in value and was curious to what the value of my mags would be. I actually use these as my primary shooting mags because the spring is soo good in them and they always feed without a problem (unlike some of my others). Should I be treating them as more of a "collector" mag?
Is there any way to tell when these mags were made, or who they were made by? If I can get a good price for these, I just might have to sell them! http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...P08mags003.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...P08mags004.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...P08mags005.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...P08mags007.jpg |

I would consider these collector mags. The only original numbered BPB FXO mags were for the KU serial pistols. The number on your's doesn't appear original in your photo, but would have to see up close to say for sure. If you want less expensive Haenal extruded mags for shooting, I'd recommend getting some of the DDR assembled post war ones for less than $100 each, that wer made on the same machinery. TH

I have another mag I should post on the forum, the problem was it seems as if someone has grinded down the serial number on the base of the mag so they could re-stamp it with their own :( |
