Not legal in California. I got mine on E-bay before they stopped selling guns. I paid $2200 for it back in '98. I think all of the auction houses under estimate the values, that way a lot of people are intetested and they think they might get a deal.

Pete,

You might be interested in this. If your a cop you can now buy anything you want. It's not safe for the public. This goes to show you that the law doesn't have anything to do with safety. It's an elite attitude.

March 2007

Policy Change Regarding State Exemptions for Authorized Peace Officers
Effective immediately, peace officers who have legislative authority to carry and use firearms may, without a letter signed by the head of their agency or the agency head's designee, purchase non-rostered handguns and/or large capacity magazines. The peace officer must present a valid peace officer identification card and the dealer must retain a copy of the identification card on file. (PC 12132 & 12133). A letter is still required from the head of the agency to exempt the peace officer from the ten day waiting period. (PC 12078).

Tracy,

Isn't this one allowed in CA as a C&R...I am pretty sure most of the commemorative Mauser/Interarms are listed...so a C&R holder could buy it...

Tracy,

You can add the Parabellum Karabiner model to the list as well. It is now C&R as well.

I am fortunate to own one of these as an exemplar of the last production 6" Navy. The quality, compared to DWM production, is simply inadequate. It is a nice, pretty package, however.

My estimate of value is about $3500.

mauro 11-02-2007 01:32 PM

I have one of them as well and I am really happy with.
I remember that only 250 specimens have been done.
Nice item to collect.
Have fun,
Mauro
